Introduction :

Geographic information system:It is an organized computer based information system which attempts to capture, store, manipulate ,analyze and display spatially referenced and associated attribute data for solving problem related to research, planning and management.   The basic output of GIS system is a map.
            It is a computer based tool for mapping and analyzing geographic that exist and events occurring on the earth.
 

Components of GIS:
